What is meridian testing?
Meridian testing was first developed by Dr. Voll in Germany and called EAV Testing (Electro Acupuncture according to Voll). It is now more commonly called EDS Testing (Electro Dermal Screening).
The Meridian Test uses a computerized, electronic biofeedback instrument which helps to identify energetic imbalances in the body. How does it work?
The first step in the process of the Meridian Test is to measure the electrical conductance or resistance at the responsive points on the hands and feet. The measurements are recorded using a sophisticated software program and this represents a profile of your present condition. It tests the flow of energy through the acupuncture meridian system of the body. A low level electric stimulus is passed through the fingers and toes while the person holds onto a brass electrode. It reads a galvanic skin response through the Chinese acupuncture meridian points located on the hands and feet. These points are more electrically conductive than other surrounding tissue. What does it reveal?
